Loft apartments in Houston have become extremely popular in the last few years. There has been an increase of construction of these types of properties and renewed interest in much older loft buildings. Lofts in Houston usually offer hardwood or concrete floors, large windows, exposed brick walls and pipes, and track lighting. A loft should also be a wide-open space with fewer walls than more traditional apartments.
A few properties in Houston offer “loft style” floor plans but may not actually be loft apartments generally. Examples of this type are Camden City Centre and Rincon. The majority of Houston loft apartments are found in Downtown Houston, however more and more are popping up in Midtown Houston, The Houston Galleria area, and Museum District/Montrose.
